Thais is a bilingual actress based in DC.

She has appeared onstage and onscreen in both English and Spanish. Most recent stage credits include Things That Are Round (RepStage, World Premiere); Richard III (Shakespeare Theatre Company, u/s) Don Cristobal (Pointless Theatre); Óyeme, the Beautiful (Imagination Stage); VolcanO! Tales of El Salvador (GALA Hispanic Theatre); Neverwhere (Rorschach Theatre); and the #NastyWomenRep, What Every Girl Should Know and Dry Land (Forum Theatre).

Thais relocated to the area in 2015 for an apprenticeship with the Studio Theatre Conservatory. In 2016, she joined the Education department at Shakespeare Theatre Company, where she developed and implemented a $74,000 grant-winning initiative to expand Spanish/ESOL programming for STC's extensive student matinee program. She now works with STC as an Affiliated Teaching Artist.

Catch her this spring playing the high school popular girl in 1st Stage’s columbinus, and later this summer as a quick-witted heartbreaker in WSC Avant Bard’s A Misanthrope.
